Julie and Hannah are supported by a unique team of employment law and HR specialists.
Each member of our team has been handpicked based on knowledge, experience and behaviours. Whilst we are all very different, what we do have in common is our commerciality, and our passion for employment law and the corporate partners that we support.
We set up Hicks Watson in 2009 with a very distinct and deliberate vision … we wanted to provide a rounded, all-encompassing solution for businesses with no in-house HR team. We wanted to be commercial and bespoke, we wanted to build solid, lasting relationships and we wanted to make a difference to the companies we were working with. Over 15 years later we feel we have achieved that and more… we not only operate as an outsourced HR and employment law partner to a variety of companies across the UK, but we provide a solid and reliable employment law advisory service to HR teams big and small. We entrench ourselves with every client we work with. We love what we do and we truly value our amazing team.
Meet our people
Lucinda Myatt
Joined the Team: March 2018
Life before Hicks Watson: Before joining the team Lucinda undertook various internships at city law firms and chambers whilst studying for her degrees and Legal Practice Course. After graduating she went on to spend 5 years in a corporate ‘in house’ environment on a graduate scheme with an international retailer. During this time Lucinda led and delivered large scale change management programmes, and developed specialist knowledge of employee relations, industrial relations and change management.

Catriona Cawthorne
Joined the Team: September 2018
Life before Hicks Watson: Catriona has worked across an eclectic mix of industries, sectors and HR roles prior to joining Hicks Watson, notably in both the arts, retail and construction world, meaning that she has joined the team with a broad skill set and knowledge base. Even before her role with Hicks Watson Catriona was well versed in managing large scale change programmes, dealing with complex ER and capability procedures and delivering training and coaching to colleagues.

Hannin Mosley-Warren
Joined the Team: January 2022
Life before Hicks Watson: Hannin started her career in childcare, working in various childcare settings, before managing a private day nursery. During this time Hannin realised her passion for delivering training and supporting her apprentices. Hannin therefore re-trained and started a career in HR, initially as a HR administrator for a large transport company. During this time Hannin worked alongside Hicks Watson to deliver inhouse HR support, managing absences, supporting in employee relation matters and supporting payroll whilst she completed her CIPD at University.

Cheryl Moolenschot
Joined the Team: September 2022
Life before Hicks Watson: During her degree studies and vocational training Cheryl undertook volunteer work at a local law centre and work experience at several chambers in Manchester. After graduating she went on to spend 12 years in Litigation roles representing Respondents across various industries. Fancying a change, Cheryl then moved into a combined legal and HR role which included her undertaking in-house seconded assignments including a stint as HR Director for a well-known hospitality client and UK HR Representative for a Global manufacturer.

Angela Tan
Joined: April 2024
Life before Hicks Watson: Angela was already known to Hicks Watson on joining and had worked with most of the team via an existing client. Her 18 years in her previous employment covered several roles but in the main Angela held the role of Administration Manager where she improved the efficiencies of the administration department and managed the team. More recently Angela set up the HR Function at the same business, putting in place processes, procedures, policies, and tools along the way.

We believe that some things are better done in person, and therefore unlike other consultancy firms we’re not just a voice at the end of the phone, or a name on an email signature. So, whether you want a video call with us, or if you want to see us in person, we will make time to come and visit you.
